Introducing Fix Up Academy: Empowering Lives, Transforming Futures

At Fix Up Academy, we believe that everyone deserves a second chance. That’s why we are proud to announce that we are a fully funded Community Interest Company (CIC), dedicated to helping the underprivileged and re-offenders get their lives back on track.

We understand that circumstances can sometimes hold you back, but we firmly believe that education should never be a barrier. That’s why, if you meet our criteria, our courses are completely FREE for you!

Our team of experienced professionals is committed to providing you with the tools and skills you need to succeed. Whether you’re looking to gain new qualifications, enhance your employability, or simply improve your confidence, Fix Up Academy has the right course for you.

Our Mission
  • The Fix Up Academy is a faith-based social enterprise situated in the Northwest of England.
  • We believe that together we can create brighter, safer, more hopeful communities by lifting young people out of disadvantage.
  • Our offer revolves around staging training courses that put young people on the pathway to employment, in professions such as barbering, tattooing and all aspects of beauty and aesthetics.
  • That training enables young people to complete National Vocational Qualifications from Level One to Four.
  • This training is supported by enrichment activities, including foraging and walking tours, sports comprising boxing and football and education talks and visits.
  • It is also backed by robust and proven health, nutrition and mental health support, including talking therapies
What we offer

Faith-based vision

The Fix Up Academy is based upon the Christian principles of helping those in need. They include those with special educational issues, mental health concerns or who have been the victims of trauma or difficult domestic circumstances.

Though Christ’s teachings are embedded into our core mission, The Fix Up Academy is open to people of all faiths and none and is particularly aware of the inequalities facing our BAME population.
